Well I have definitely been bitten by the hybrid bug and I LOVE it!!!!
I have created a pinwheel flower tonight for Lily’s bedroom and I am hoping to made a lot of them tomorrow and put them in a little “vase” to create a lovely bunch of flowers that don’t need watering and can look pretty!!!
I used All About Me Girls: Full Kit by Truman Studio
And here is my finished flower!!!

And I used my own little template for it and thought I would share it here with you!! I used the circles as a guide for embellishments for the middle of the flower and I used 2 strips to make my flower!
Here is a step by step guide to using the hybrid template!
Step One!!
Clip your papers to the clipping mask in the template and add embellishments to the spaces provided. I used just 2 embellishments per flower and 2 of the clipping masks per flower!

Step Two!!
Cut out everything!!

Step Three!!
Score the lines and then fold the papers into a fan!

Step Four!!
Glue the two pieces together and make a ‘circle’ using them!

Step Five!!
I used my glue gun here now and I pushed the top of the circle down and pulled the bottom up until it lay flat and then turned them over and added glue to the middle to secure it, then put it colour facing up and added another dab of glue for the embellishment to sit on! I then used 3D foam pads to add the heart to make it ‘pop’ out a little!

Step Six!!
I then added glue to a green straw to make a stem!

And thats it!!

She loves the flowers of course

And then I created a label to match her Hello Kitty bedroom for them to go on her drawers!

Enjoy!!
